Work Ethics for Teachers:
“Teaching is a profession that creates all other professions”
A teacher must adapt highest ethical standards for the community. His job is to ensure quality education to all students without any impartiality.
A teachers must be committed to his students , his
profession and his community
Commitment with students:

A teacher must treat his all students equally without
and biases or prejudice. He must not judge his students on any academic or non
academic bases like difference in color or creed.
·
A student must be provided with respect and
affection irrespective of his grades or performance. Everything between the
student and teacher should remain confidential unless it requires serious
involvement of law, administration or
parents.
·
Teachers know that every student has different
learning style. A good teacher respects that and adapts a teaching style that
suits most of the class that engages the curiosity and creativity of students.
·
A teacher should encourage his students to think
critically and out of the box. He should encourage learners to think about the
social issues.
·
He should be a good controller, organiser,participant,
tutor, observer and mentor in the class.
·
A teacher should never exploit relationship with
his students for any benefit.
·
He must have good interpersonal skills.
·
A teacher must know that he’s a role model for
his students and must act accordingly. He should focus on teaching morals and
civil responsibilities to his students.
Commitment with
profession:
·
A
teacher must know that he’s accountable. He should respect that teaching is a
noble profession and he fulfill the needs of this profession accordingly.
·
He
should continue educational growth. Teaching as a profession requires
continuous learning. He should indulge in research and should continue to
increase his certifications. He should attend work shops to refine his teaching
methodologies.
·
He
should strictly follow the policies, laws and accept the rules and regulations
of the institute he works in.
·
He
should not use the institute for his personal benefits
Commitment with community:
A teacher
should know that quality education is the goal on the institute and parents and
teachers.
·
He
must collaborate with administrators, fellow teachers and non academic and
academic staff of the institute.
·
He
must refrain from passing any comments on his fellows.
·
He
should inform parents about anything that’s in students interest. The
communication between teacher and parents should be argument free.
·
He
should respect the representation of different cultures and communities in his
class.
