There has been 150% increase in the use of internet globally over the decade. This continual increase in the usage of internet provides an opportunity for global marketers to sell their product over the internet and make more people aware of their product through it. Today, 90% of the young adults aging from 18-29 use social media. According to another survey, nearly two thirds of American adults use social media. (Pewinternt, 2016).
Considering the economic disparity among the country men e-books provide a cheap way of achieving the goal of learning. Moreover, individuals have attitudes with regard to reading are social, personal, reflective, recreational. These functions in regard to book reading along with the high costs of book, and governments lack of attention has led to overall demise of book reading culture. Reading as a cultural phenomenon with support from provincial governments has been seen to promote book reading. Example is the famous Hunza Valley of Gilgit-Baltistan. Where civil society has set up community libraries in almost each village with help of village based community organizations. Complimenting this the provincial government has kept the Municipal Library in a very good condition.
