Buying and Selling Books through Mobile Application.


The research is for seen that majority of the respondents interested in using the applications were students. Almost 65.5% marked their occupation as Students while 31% were professionals. The remaining 4% people belonged to another field.
The other thing that has been noticed is a greater number of males as compared to females. Almost 62.6% were males while only 37.6% were females. The positive point identified was that out of all the people who took part in survey 86.1% showed interest in reading and claimed to be readers while only 13.9% showed lack of interest in reading, which practically means that still there are a lot of people who love reading. It was also observed that 53% people read books sometimes only whenever they get free time while 41.7% people read a lot and make time for reading out of their busy schedule. Only a few numbers of people showed no interest in reading at all.
It was also found out that people who love reading also buy a good number of books. Out of all the readers 60% said that they buy books sometimes while 32.2% said they buy books regularly. Only 7.8% people said that they never spend their money on buying books. 
It is important to know the medium used by people to buy books. So the thing found out is that almost 60% people prefer to buy books from book shops while 40% like to buy books online.
Moreover, 78.3% said that they sell and buy used books. It is very beneficial because one can get used books in good condition at a low price and similarly can sell the books from one’s personal library and can spend the earned money on buying more books. 21.7% people said that they prefer not to buy or sell used books. 
It was observed that only 39.1% people have bought or sold books online while rest 60.9% hasn’t tried that. It is possible that readers have no idea about the benefits of buying and selling books online.
43% people think that there already exist some platforms for buying and selling used books. 31.6% said no, while 25.4% said maybe. This question was asked to know whether people are aware of any such online platforms where they could buy or sell used books.
79.6% people showed a huge interest in using an application for selling and buying the books. 12.4% people showed a doubt regarding this and only 8% said no. So this survey conducted clearly showed that most of the people out there need a user friendly application for buying and selling books.

WHY E-Books?? E-books have some advantages over printed books, such as settings and particular purposes. On the positive side, two of the most popular reasons for using e-books include their “search ability” and the fact that they are available 24 hours a day. A study by Macedo-Rouet et al. (2003) presented findings from 47 undergraduate university students. It revealed that e-book readers obtained slightly lower comprehension scores than p-book readers. Human eyes may suffer physical injury from a reading environment that is not optimized for their benefit. In a study conducted by Cynthia L.
